Although nationally, GCSE results have seen the biggest ever decrease in top grades, huge congratulations go to Year 11 with 82% of grades at 9-7 and with 36% at grade 9.

“I would like to congratulate all Year 11 students on these outstanding results. They are a tremendous year group who have faced significant adversity over the last two years, however, they have shown great resilience in difficult times. One must remember that this year group had their education disrupted for two years and were the first to sit GCSEs that will be graded ‘normally’, since 2019. Our students’ achievements also reflect the dedication of our teachers and the quality of the support provided by our staff. These results have ensured that they have a strong foundation on which to build success at A Level and beyond.”
