PFA - AGSB Christmas Fair

Sunday 4th December, 12pm - 3pm.

There will the usual mix of local small businesses and the AGSB selling a variety of Christmas gift ideas, fun activities and delicious food. There will also be gastronomic home-cooked delights again from the amazing AGSB Asian Food Stall, the infamous Pie & Pint Stall with gourmet seasonal pies generously donated this year by @GormetJayMcr; locally brewed beer from multi-award winning traditional Real Ale suppliers - Dunham Massey Brewing Company and of course, our fabulous Chocolate and Bottle Tombola.

Yet again this year we are delighted that the students are more involved than ever: there’s an Inter-House competition, in the 6th Form Centre, where the individual Houses will be running a series of fun activities and serving up delicious food; all boys involved will earn extra House points, so please support your child.

What’s more, Mr Monument has a wonderful array of live music performances, in the Coleman Hall showcasing the talent in school.

The AGSB PFA is really hoping that with everyone’s help we can raise over £10,000 at the Fair this year.

Last year the £8,000 raised at the Christmas Fair helped the PFA to purchase a brand-new minibus for our boys to support GCSE and A-level field trips in subjects such as Biology, Geography and Geology, aid transportation of boys and their instruments for music events and helping all the boys to get to the sporting fixtures they want to be involved in.

There are numerous ways as a parent or pupil you can support us to help reach our target, as follows:

Parentkind  ‘The Big PTA Raffle’ - 6 chances to win up to £5,000

How amazing would it be to win £5,000 just before Christmas? Here’s your chance! Tickets are only £3 each and for every ticket you purchase you will have 6 chances to win up to £5,000!* At the same time AGSB PFA will receive 50% from every ticket sold!

It's a fantastic way to bring Parents, Carers, Teachers and the wider community together, whilst raising money for school.

We are setting up most of the Fair on Friday, 2nd December and help will be required to collate and label all the tombola items from 8.15am to 11am, as well as make up gift hampers. Then from 2.30pm to 6pm we need more help to set out the stalls ready for Sunday. On the day, every stall will need helpers, so please fill in the on-line form and let us know your availability! And finally, please come along with friends and family and simply enjoy the afternoon, your support is always appreciated. Thank you.
