AGSB win the Regional F1 in Schools Competition

Altrincham Grammar School for Boys is heading to the UK Final of the F1 in Schools Challenge!
The school’s DRACO RACING team has made history by securing 1st place in the Professional Class at the North West Regional Competition. An outstanding achievement — especially considering this is only AGSB’s second year in the competition.
The F1 in Schools Regional Competition forms part of a prestigious global STEM challenge, where students design, build and race miniature Formula 1 style cars. Beyond engineering, teams also develop expertise in branding, sponsorship, project management and presentation skills.
Competing against leading schools from across the North West, DRACO RACING demonstrated exceptional innovation, precision engineering and teamwork to claim the top spot.
Huge congratulations to the team: Aryan M, Mitul G, Saiyan H, Sai A, Jakub P and Ashu T.
With the national finals taking place at the end of March, the team now sets its sights on making an even greater impact on the UK stage.
