Academic Achievement AGSB

Academic enrichment is a key facet of life at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, and the past few weeks have showcased some exceptional achievements:  A huge well done to all students involved.

 

Big Bang Competition

Our Year 12 team secured second place overall in the finals of the Big Bang Competition, competing against over 200 teams nationwide.

 

 

 

 

 

Foreign Language Spelling Bee

Four AGSB students have reached the national finals of the Foreign Language Spelling Bee, to be held at Cambridge University, following their outstanding performance in the regional round in Lancaster.

 

 

 

 

 

Cambridge Biology Challenge

Congratulations to the Yr 12 Biology Challenge team who were highly commended for their Cambridge Biology Challenge project– "Why do we dream, and what might animals dream of?"

UKMT Maths Challenge

On Monday, our students excelled in the UKMT Maths Challenge Final, held at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London.
