We are very excited and pleased to inform you that we are planning to take 60 students from Year 8 to Llandudno. Purpose of the trip is to enhance the learning of the 'Crumbling Coasts' unit taught in Year 8 and to develop the student's geographical fieldwork skills.

The students will complete a number of activities during our visit to Llandudno; including a hike up the Great Orme to investigate the limestone landscape, carry out fieldwork to investigate coastal processes, evaluate the management of coastal erosion and assess the impact of tourism on this seaside resort.

9:50 Group 1 - Site 1 Llandudno town centre & prom tour (sites A-F) & fieldwork activities
         Group 2 - Site 2 Great Orme tour (Site G) and fieldwork activities
11:45-12:15 ALL groups meet for lunch along the promenade around sites D - E
PM Groups swap over
13:45 Coaches depart Llandudno
15:25 Coaches arrive back at AGSB
