The Chinese department is going to lead a trip to Manchester Chinatown for our Y10 pupils to explore the second largest Chinatown in the Europe. A variety of activities are planned for the students to practise the Chinese language they have learnt, explore those interesting shops around Chinatown, and experience traditional Chinese Hot Pot.

Meet up at the school reception after morning registration
9.40am Walk to Altrincham tram station
10.50am St. Peter's Square. Walk to Chinatown
11.00am 1.'Treasure hunt' activity in the Chinese supermarkets in Chinatown.

                 2. Street interview. Interview Chinese people using the language they've learnt.
12.00pm Authentic Chinese Hot Pot experience at 川锅香restaurant in Chinatown.
2:30pm Head back to school by tram
