As a part of the Philosophy and Ethics study of Sikhism, the department is planning on taking Year 8 to a Gurdwara in Manchester.

We will travel by coach, departing school at 11:15 am, and returning at approximately 3pm.

All students must wear school uniform on the day of their trip.

When in the Gurdwara, students are required to remove their shoes, and cover their heads. Head coverings will be provided by the Gurdwara, and we recommend that school shoes are clearly labelled in order to avoid shoes getting lost. 

The Gurdwara are providing lunch for our students, which will be a meat free and nut free offering. If students have an allergy, we require they bring a packed lunch which they will be able to eat at another point during the visit.
