Huge congratulations to our F24 team on winning the 'Ford Engineering Award'. The judges were impressed by the depth of knowledge the students demonstrated about every aspect of their car's design and build. Every iteration, material choice and design change was researched, tested and owned by the students themselves.

It was a brilliant day of racing. We learnt a lot, battled through technical issues, suffered a major setback in Race 2, and laughed our way through it all. The resilience, determination and team spirit on display were outstanding.

I'm incredibly proud that these students, the Key Stage 5 team who lead and mentor our Key Stage 4 team, had their hard work recognised.

Season 1 is done, but the minibus home was buzzing with ideas for Season 2. Watch this space...
