AGSB STUDENTS EXCEL IN LANGUAGES

Altrincham Grammar School for Boys students have enjoyed a number of successes in Languages competitions over the last few weeks.
Aarush K (Year 7) was selected as Northwest Area Winner of the Anthea Bell Prize for Young translator, a national competition run by the Queen’s College Translation exchange at the University of Oxford. This is a huge achievement as over 22,000 students from across the UK took part in the competition.
Congratulations also goes to Jayden P (Year 8) who was crowned national champion in the national Translation Bee finals which were held at Cambridge University. This is an amazing achievement as over 20, 000 students from across the country took part in the competition.
We are incredibly proud of all our competitors, whose hard work and commitment to language learning have been exemplary.
