<p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm">Following the excellent A Level grades last week, AGSB is today celebrating a first-rate set of grades at GCSE.</p>

<ul>
	<li>Average points score was over 7.6</li>
	<li>34 students achieved 8 or 9s in their GCSEs</li>
	<li>88 students achieved all grade 7, 8 or 9 across their GCSEs</li>
	<li>Eight students managed the incredibly challenging feat of 10 or more grade 9s.</li>
</ul>

<p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm">Head Master Graeme Wright said:</p>

<p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm">&ldquo;Across a year group of over 200 students, it is fantastic to see that 60% of all exams were graded at 8 or 9 and 35% at the highest grade 9. These results are a real credit to the hard work and commitment of our students, and I would like to congratulate them and their families. &quot;My thanks also go to our teachers, whose expertise and dedication have supported the pupils so successfully.&rdquo;</p>

<p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm; text-align:justify"><span>Students at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys are celebrating today after achieving an exceptional set of A Level results that reflect their hard work, resilience, and ambition.</span></p>

<p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm; text-align:justify"><span>An impressive <em>58% of all A Levels were awarded the top A*/A grades</em><em>,</em> with nearly a quarter of results at the coveted <strong>A</strong><strong>*</strong> grade. The average grade across the cohort was an <strong>A</strong>.</span></p>

<p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm; text-align:justify"><span>Amongst the standout achievements:</span></p>

<ul>
	<li style="text-align:justify"><span><span> <strong>12 students</strong> achieved a clean sweep of A* grades.</span></span></li>
	<li style="text-align:justify"><span><span> <strong>73 students</strong> (36% of the year group) earned A*/A grades in all their subjects.</span></span></li>
</ul>

<p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm; text-align:justify"><span>Head Master Graeme Wright praised the achievements of this year&rsquo;s leavers:</span></p>

<p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm; text-align:justify"><span>&ldquo;Our Year 13s are an incredibly talented cohort who have achieved so much, both in the classroom and beyond. They&rsquo;ve led by example and inspired younger pupils with their positivity and determination. These results are a testament to our students&rsquo; dedication, resilience, and passion for learning. They are now set to progress to some of the top universities and competitive courses across the country. &quot;I congratulate each of them on their success and thank our outstanding staff for their tireless commitment and support throughout the year.&rdquo;</span></p>

The students&nbsp;took part in a number of workshops, from Classic Ink painting, to Cooking up Spring Rolls onto more active Chinese Sports workshop plus, Mask and Lantern making. The students also learnt about Chinese History and even&nbsp;took part in a Chinese Choir workshop.</p>

<p style="margin-left:0cm; margin-right:0cm">All in all, a very immersive day.&nbsp; Thanks to Mrs Ding for organising the event and our parent helpers who told me how impressed they were by our teachers&#39; talent!&nbsp;☺️</p>

Reform UK leader </span><span><strong>Daniel Hornby </strong></span><span>gracefully accepted the coalition deal, after his party exceeded expectations by winning 31% of the vote. It was a disappointing showing by the Conservatives, as they received only 9%, despite the accomplished performance of candidate </span><span><strong>Adam Ladha</strong></span><span>.</span></span></span></span></span></p>
