Extremism is Happening in Our Area, What Can We Do? Virtual Session
This event will take place between 6:30pm and 8:00pm on 24/02/2025
Delivered in 90 minutes, this session is for parents/guardians to explore susceptibility to extremist messaging and radicalisation, looking specifically at how the Extreme Right-Wing (ERW) operates, recruits and signs to look out for.
Highlighting how attractive the ERW can look with its simplistic messages and how the grooming process can happen, we also show what can be done about it and where to get help. This programme is about creating awareness and developing resilience to extremist messaging and recruitment, enhancing the understand of online radicalisation risks and equip attendees with the knowledge and skills needed to safeguard young people effectively.
