Human fieldwork:

The department will be taking your son to Ancoats, Manchester, to investigate sustainability and urban regeneration in January.  The trip will help to consolidate his understanding of the Changing Cities unit and will be carried out within the usual school day (register at 08:40 as normal and return by 15:20).  We will travel by Metrolink to New Islington, walk to Ancoats and return to Altrincham by tram.
