About the PFA

The Parents’ and Friends’ Association was formed with the goals of raising money for the School and putting on events that bring families associated with AGSB together.

In recent years, the PFA have funded a wide range of extras for the school including computers, bike sheds, outdoor tables and benches, a minibus, musical equipment including a piano, ovens for food tech equipment and shoe shine machines. In addition we have funded refreshments for sports and sporting equipment for cricket, athletics, tennis and more! Our target for this year is to fundraise for an additional minibus.

The Altrincham Grammar School for Boys Parents’ and Friends’ Association would like to thank everyone who has offered support to PFA events in the way of prizes and time helping out at events throughout the year. All support is truly appreciated and the monies raised directly benefit the students of the School.

We organise a variety of different events over the year to help raise money. Some of these events range from asking for donations of clothing for Clothes Line collections, quiz and race evenings, and Swing Nights with the boys from our famous Swing Band playing throughout the evening. We have a fantastic Christmas Fair each November as well as our annual Christmas Raffle.
