GCSE Results 2021

Year 11 Pupils’ Hard Work Rewarded with a Superb Set of GCSE Results

Year 11 pupils at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys today celebrated a very strong set of results, continuing a long pattern of outstanding success at GCSE. Despite the disruption to their education caused by two lockdowns and the challenges of the pandemic, we are extremely proud that our boys are celebrating an excellent set of GCSE examination results.  These results are the culmination of months of effort, application and determination by the boys over the last two years.

Head Master, Graeme Wright said:  “My warmest congratulations go to Year 11. They are an outstanding year group and their exceptional results represent just reward for years of hard work and commitment. After all the challenges they have experienced since March 2020, these excellent outcomes are an accurate reflection of the superb manner in which our boys have approached their GCSE studies. They and their families should take pride in all they have achieved. I am also very grateful indeed for the diligence shown by our teaching staff in producing such carefully considered Teacher Assessed Grades. This year group have also committed fully to our extra-curricular programme and have enjoyed great success in music, debating, drama, sport and many other activities. This multi-talented year group can now look forward to their Sixth Form studies with confidence.
