What is Science College
We were awarded Science college status in march 2009, This status will enable us to build upon the Science Faculty's popularity and success and further develop a scientifically rich curriculum.
The status is having an impact in two key areas :
An enriched curriculum - There will be greater opportunities for our boys to study science both inside and outside the classroom. We will collaborate with the Maths and Technology Departments to ensure that our students are equipped with the necessary skills to succeed in a technologically advanced economy.
Community involvement - We will seek to involve and enthuse the wider community. We will work collaboratively with local primary and secondary schools to share ideas, expertise and initiatives outside the boundaries of AGSB.
