Old Atrinchamians' Association

 

 

 

The Old Atrinchamians' Association exists to establish and promote contacts amongst 'Old Boys' of the Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, and to foster ongoing links between them and the School.

The Association fulfils these goals at present in the following ways:

(1) Arranging an Annual Reunion Dinner, with guest speakers, at the end of February or beginning of March.

(2) Mailing a reprint of the Old Altrinchamian section of the School Magazine annually to members in August/September.

(3) Holding an Annual General Meeting at School in November.

(4) Donating funds to support School activities and appeals.

The Association also has a lively 'Golf Society', with three fixtures a year, including a match against the School in competition for the Marlborough Trophy.

The Association can put other sportsmen in touch with two independent local clubs which welcome Old Boys amongst their ranks: The Old Altrinchamian Football Club and Ashley Cricket Club.

The Hale and Old Altrinchamians Lodge extends a cordial invitation to Old Boys to become members.

Membership of the Association is open to all former pupils of the Altrincham Grammar School for Boys. The annual subscription is £5.00.

Old Altrinchamian Lodge

The Golf Section has three fixtures each year:

* Society Day
* Match Versus the School
* Inter-Old Boys Match

You will be very welcome If you would like to play, spectate, caddy or just join in the 19th-hole convivialities.
