"The first ever Spanish trip this school has had, in activities' week, 2003, was a total success. All enjoyed their time in the outskirts of Barcelona, approximately half an hour away from the town centre. All the boys really enjoyed themselves. There were about ten Y9's and thirty Y8's.
We stayed in the Victoria Hotel which was a very neat little hotel which had such brilliant facilities such as a gym and a swimming pool. We were about five minutes walk from the beach, which was very good, allowing us to go and play football and generally chill out on the beach. There was also a nice selection of shops for tourists, which finished off the beautiful beach and the boiling weather that we had hoped for before we visited.
Our group toured Barcelona's brilliant sites, such as the Gaudi Cathedral, the Ramblas, the Park Guell and of course, the Nou Camp, home of FC Barcelona.
Unfortunately the trip ended too soon, and I'm sure nobody wanted leave. Overall, the rating for the trip is 5/5. An excellent trip, thank you very much Mrs Pellow (the organiser) and everyone who helped out to make the trip possible."
