Opening Times
The Library is open from 8:30 to 4:30, including
lunchtime and morning break except wednesday break - this is the
library staff meeting time.

Events
Each year, the Library hosts various quizzes and activities to celebrate events such as world book day. Reading groups are also held in the Library.
Library Team
The Librarian Mrs. J Clarke BA (Hons) is ablley supported by a team of enthusiastic pupil librarians, from all year groups. Their role ranges from general Library duties to promoting reading and helping to organise Library events.
Information Literacy
New year 7's follow a learning program which teaches them how to get the most from the Library,
its facilities and other information sources.
After school there is a homework club in which pupils can complete their work.

What the Library can do for you:
Help you find the information you need for your work-from books, journals, internet & other sources.
Help you use the library catalogue.
Provide basic help in using Library equipment.
Provide space for you to work quietly.
Treat you with courtesy.
Consult with you as we make changes to ensure that our services are more effective for you.
What the library expects from you:
To work/read quietly without disturbing others - respect the rights of others to work.
Accept the School Computer Network Code of Conduct & use PCs for school work only.
Do not eat and drink in the library.
Do not use mobile phones/iPod etc.
Treat library staff with courtesy.
Treat books and other materials with respect.
