History & Politics

 

Welcome the the History & Politics Department

History is compulsory in Years 7 through to 9 and available as an option at GCSE, AS and A2 levels. Politics is also available at AS and A2. The History courses follow the AQA Specifications and Politics follows Edexcel.

The Department aims to bring to life the important events in our history so that pupils not only learn about the past, but, through the eyes and writings of others, develop an understanding of what has made us what we are today.
