Language College
Our aim is to instil a global dimension into the teaching and learning of all students and staff across all curriculum areas. We also aim to work with our Science Specialism to lead improvement in Teaching and Learning across the school. AGSB pupils are global citizens, they will have the opportunity to live and work all over the world. Through the Language College they will gain intercultural understanding as well as valuable communication and language skills during their time at AGSB.
Our staff and students are involved in many international activities, including the ASDAN International Award, Amnesty International, our exchange programme with partner schools in France, Germany and Spain, the European Youth Parliament, British Council Immersion courses and summer camps to China and Language College Language Classes for pupils, staff and the wider community.
Continuing to embed internationalisation across the school we will ensure that opportunities for cross-curricular work with an international dimension are maximised, including work on the exciting theme of London 2012 and the Olympic and Paralympic values.
